Below is a guideline for what you need to be doing each month as you prepare to become a ÌÒÌ«ÀÉÓ³ÏñHusky.

August to December

  • Fill out the .
  • Have your high school transcript sent to ÌÒÌ«ÀÉÓ³Ïñ.

October

Take the SAT, ACT, or CLT and send your scores to us.

October to March

Fill out the (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and be sure to select to have the report sent to ÌÒÌ«ÀÉÓ³Ïñ. (FAFSA School Code: 003576)

December to March

  • Receive Financial Aid packet (You will receive an email alerting you to log in to HuskyNet to view your award. A mailed packet will also be sent.)
  • Pay your and receive your “I’m a Husky” t-shirt. Your deposit also allows you to sign up for Orientation, Pre-Registration and Housing beginning March 1.

January to March

Schedule your Financial Aid Appointment with your Admissions Counselor to discuss your estimated tuition and fees, and see how your financial aid package will apply to the total cost of attendance. Be sure you have submitted your FAFSA!

February

Attend Winter Preview.

March

April

May

  • Attend Pre-Registration and get your schedule!
  • Explore your Payment Options.

June

  • Request your final high school transcript to be sent to ÌÒÌ«ÀÉÓ³Ïñ(transcript that shows your high school graduation date).
  • Attend GO New Student Orientation.

August

  • Deadline to submit final transcripts, meningitis vaccination information and adjust your schedule.
  • Move into your Residence Hall, if living on campus.
  • Attend Welcome Days.
  • Start Classes!
